PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The Business Growth Director will be responsible for developing, leading and implementing VELA’s business growth strategy to enable the company to grow, thrive and maintain a healthy financial position within the marketplace.
The Business Growth Director is also expected to understand and execute expansion tactics and meet financial targets. They will also have a key role in marketing the company and supporting the strategic positioning of the company.

RESPONSIBILITY

Where appropriate, preparing written responses to tenders, contributing to the completion of application processes, preparing pitch presentations and delivering pitch presentations
Developing and supporting the implementation of business development/growth activities through the development of an internal team dedicated to business development, marketing and business growth activities
Securing new business
Identifying new strategic business opportunities, agreeing on appropriate responses with CEO and taking appropriate action
Building on relationships with existing clients commissioning work from the company with a view to securing further business
Creating opportunities to meet with existing and prospective clients/commissioners.
Preparing regular management reports detailing new business, repeat business and opportunities to promote services in new markets
Maintaining extensive knowledge of current and future potential market characteristics and conditions
Actively contributing to company marketing initiatives, identifying new opportunities, ensuring marketing is delivered and is on track, and highlighting where areas for development are greatest

AUTHORITY

Rotate position in the team
Appraisal staff as per company’s policy
Recruit
Develop new products under VELA’s strategy
Adjust SOP and KPI’s to achieve the long term strategy

Yêu cầu công việc

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor Degree
Good command in English (A Level)
Data analyzed.
Budget control
Good Computer skills (MS Office)
Knowledge

EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of various growth- hacking tools, such as automation and campaign monitoring platforms.
Skilled at sales generation, conversion analysis and creating sales funnels.
Experience in building sales for the platform
Results- oriented with strong ROI- driven mindset.
Self- starter and work independently with high adaptability to a fast- moving environment.
Curious, innovative, and confident in your abilities to drive change.
Strong analytical skills, web metrics, and sales metrics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in start- up. preferably in logistics or tech company
At least 5- 10 years or in a similar position or growth experience
