Buyer/Purchasing (MRO, Spare Part)

Develop creative and innovative procurement processes. Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement
Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships
Position involves planning & execution of the purchasing function to ensure suppliers meet quality, cost & service requirements
Assess and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and manage performance improvement activities
Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers. Contact suppliers to resolve quality, price, delivery or invoice issues.
Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
Ensure compliance to company guidelines, Purchasing policies, company code of ethics and procedures guidance during supplier negotiation and contract award process. Ensure that a professional and consistent approach are taken in relation to all supplier relationships.
Responsible for purchasing of MRO used in production.

- Strong MRO buyer/purchasing experience
- Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-functional activities
- Good english skills in writing and spoken
- At least 3 years of working experiences.
- Experience in ERP systems, SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Experienced negotiation skills
