Job Summary:
The Compensation and Benefits (C&B) Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the day- to- day operations of the Compensation and Benefits and Admin team. This role involves managing the design, development, and administration of the organization&039;s compensation and benefits programs. The Team Leader ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations while implementing strategies to attract and retain top talent through competitive compensation and benefits offerings.
JOB DRESCRIPTION:
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and mentor the C&B and Admin team, fostering a collaborative and high- performance work environment.
Provide guidance and support to team members in executing their responsibilities effectively.
Compensation Review and Proposal:
Propose compensation strategies to align with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
Conduct regular market analysis to ensure the competitiveness of the organization&039;s compensation packages.
Benefits Administration:
Collaborate with external vendors to optimize benefit offerings and ensure cost- effectiveness.
Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, and other benefits.
Policy Development and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws related to compensation and benefits.
Develop and update compensation and benefits policies in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Job Evaluation and Grading:
Maintain a job classification system and update job descriptions as needed.
Support HR Manager to conduct job evaluations and grading to ensure internal equity and consistency in compensation practices.
Performance Management:
Develop incentive and bonus programs that align with performance objectives.
Collaborate with the HR Manager to integrate compensation and benefits with the performance management process.
Communication:
Provide education and support to employees regarding their compensation and benefits packages.
Communicate changes in compensation and benefits programs to employees.
Budget Management:
Collaborate with finance to develop and manage the compensation and benefits budget.
Monitor expenses and make recommendations for cost- effective programs.
