Duties & Responsibilities:
Curriculum development:
Work in collaboration with school Boards of Management to manage all aspects of the curriculum process, including development, vertical and horizontal mapping, implementation, and evaluation.
Support the data analysis of assessment results to positively impact the quality of teaching and learning.
Work in collaboration with the other Cambridge Coordinators to develop and oversee the implementation of the Cambridge curricula and related Cambridge action plans.
Review and develop assessment resources including, where appropriate, internal progression tests
Where appropriate, work with schools to support the Council of International Schools (CIS) membership/accreditation process in relation to the Curriculum and Teaching and Assessing for Learning. (Domain C and Domain D within the CIS International Accreditation Evaluation Framework)
Teacher Training:
Work in collaboration with the Vinschool Education System Cambridge Coordinator to develop the school- wide teacher training programs that are aligned with Cambridge requirements
Conduct training needs analysis and propose suitable training programs for teachers
Participate in teacher training and monitoring the training quality
Quality management
Visit classrooms to gain an understanding of the quality of teaching and learning and regularly report progress to the Vinschool Education System Cambridge Coordinator.
Operation:
Oversee the management and administration of all Cambridge assessments
Perform other tasks and responsibilities agreed in conjunction with the Vinschool Education System Cambridge Coordinator in support of the strategic priorities for Vinschools.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor‘s in Education and teaching certificate (Master’s Degree in Education preferred).
Background in professional development and training
Minimum 2 years‘ experience in a leadership position (Vice- Principal for Curriculum Development or equivalent), preferably in an international school.
Experience with/knowledge of Cambridge Primary, Secondary & High School Curriculum
