Chief Acccountant - Educational Field

Job Descriptions:
• Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting roles such as AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting
• Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring, and controls.
• Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries
• Maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies
• Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting by working closely with the operations and project teams
• Issue project financial reports for review and approval.
• Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash- flow management reporting for submission to Board of Director
• Perform other tasks requested by Director.
• Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations
• Perform a full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
• Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring, and controls.
• Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash- flow management reporting for submission to Board of Directors and donor as requested.

Requirements:
• Able to work independently and highly meticulous.
• Working experience in SAP is highly regarded.
• Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel and other accounting software
• Ability to work under high pressure, good teamwork skills
• Min 3- 5 years’ relevant experience in financial & management accounting particularly in development projects is preferred.
• Relevant experience in audit and costing is advantageous.
• Excellent planning skills and ability to interact with all levels and partners
• BA in Accounting/Finance/ACCA qualification
