Chief accountant

Financial Oversight:

Lead and manage the overall financial operations of the company.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with international accounting standards. Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets.
Provide insights and analysis to support strategic decision- making.

Audit and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
Coordinate and manage external audits, liaising with auditors to address any findings.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high- performance culture.
Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on accounting principles and industry best practices. Financial Planning and Analysis:
Work closely with other departments to support their financial needs and initiatives.
Conduct in- depth financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Risk Management:

Implement and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
Stay informed about industry trends and potential risks that may impact financial performance.

Tax Planning:

Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns.
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company&039;s tax position.

Technology Integration:

Evaluate and implement financial systems to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Stay abreast of technological advancements in accounting and finance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or in a similar senior financial role.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
In- depth knowledge of international accounting standards and regulations.
Strong analytical and leadership skills.
