Key Duties and Responsibilities:
● Review economic contracts and service contracts (if any).
● Organize regular inventory of fixed assets, tools, equipment, and goods. Implement periodic and ad- hoc inventory activities for assets and goods.
● Control and maintain the accounting system operations including revenues, expenses, assets, cash, accounting records, and monthly financial reports. Ensure reconciliation of accounting data, balancing of detailed and summary data; review financial statements and tax reports to ensure accuracy.
● Work with regulatory agencies, prepare, coordinate, and fulfill audit and inspection requirements, and handle tax finalization. Liaise with auditors and inspectors/tax finalizers.
● Analysis and control budget and expense with management accounting process, and report it to BOD including any unusual or inappropriate financial activities
● Collaborate with HQ (based on Korea) under following accounting management process based on global standard
● Monitor and review reports on VAT, CIT, FCT, PIT, and other taxes as per regulations, ensuring timely submission of required tax and financial reports.
Activities:
● Participate in many kinds of business activities and support other activities related to the company&039;s overall operations.
● Develop and enhance the management accounting system for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) purposes.
● Based on VAS standards of accounting expertise, understand the HQ’s accounting system (K- GAAP) and participate in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
● Provide overall management and assume overall responsibility for all activities of the accounting team. Organize the team’s workflow and manage the documentation and record- keeping system
● Demonstrate expertise in taxation, identifying potential tax issues during the initiation of new business ventures and contractual agreements, and effectively responding to tax challenges the company may face.
