Our esteemed client is seeking an adept Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our organization&039;s continual operations and expansion. The primary objective of the COO role is to foster collaboration among departments to ensure operational efficiency and propel growth. As the COO, you will serve as the CEO&039;s right- hand person, working closely to provide support and drive strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, coupled with a background in finance and business operations, along with a solid understanding of engineering and construction processes. Additionally, you should have a proven track record of achieving operational excellence and driving business growth while managing finances for early- stage, high- growth companies with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct and supervise the company&039;s project finance and associated corporate finance endeavors, examining diverse funding channels including domestic bank loans, offshore senior loans, etc.
• Assist the CEO in establishing and advancing objectives concerning the organizational vision, operational strategy, ESG leadership, compliance, financing, financial performance, and other pertinent aspects of our enterprise.
• Oversee operational functions and employee performance, cultivate an inclusive organizational culture, and ensure team members flourish while meeting both organizational and financial objectives.
• Identify and pursue market opportunities, participate in formulating the company&039;s business goals and strategies to facilitate accelerated business growth, enhanced investment returns, and attainment of ESG objectives.
• Translate overarching corporate strategies into tangible actions, fostering synergy among departments, implementing comprehensive performance assessment and evaluation systems across the organization, and contributing to annual business budgeting and planning efforts.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fostering and maintaining effective relationships between the company&039;s clients, investors, shareholders, bankers, technical partners, and contractors to foster robust business development and expansion.
• Remain informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to drive ongoing enhancements and innovation within the organization.
• Establish and implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and enhance operational and ESG performance, intervening as necessary to address any deficiencies.
• Aid in developing a strategic roadmap for future applications of solar energy, energy storage, and associated technologies and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is crucial for effective communication with stakeholders.
• Strong grasp of corporate governance principles and readiness to institute and execute necessary corporate oversight in an early- stage business setting.
• Proven track record in executive leadership roles with direct profit and loss (P&L) responsibility.
• Demonstrated history of achieving growth and profitability targets within a business context.
