We are currently recruiting for the position of Commercial Clerk to support the company. Below are the details of the position:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Procurement – Vendor Management (35%)
• Source, evaluate and develop local and international suppliers.
• Manage, classify and evaluate supplier performance based on cost, quality and delivery criteria.
• Monitor and control purchasing price history; analyze and forecast market price fluctuations.
• Work with related service partners including logistics, transportation and insurance providers.
• Negotiate, prepare and manage the execution of international and domestic purchasing contracts.
Order Management (35%)
International Purchasing
• Work with overseas suppliers and logistics/insurance partners.
• Coordinate with internal departments to place and confirm purchase orders;
Domestic Purchasing
prepare and handle international trade documents, insurance and shipping documents.
• Place, monitor and confirm domestic purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Work with local suppliers and logistics/insurance partners.
Supply Chain Customer Experience – Sales Order Management (20%)
• Receive, communicate and confirm sales orders from strategic customers.
• Coordinate internally and work with the Sales Department to:
Provide information on quantity, pricing, delivery schedules and delivery documents
Issue quotations
• Monitor and manage sales contracts for strategic customers.
Customer Relationship (10%)
• Coordinate with internal departments to prepare and complete required documentation as requested by customers.
• Receive customer requests related to supplier evaluation.
Other Tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in international purchasing; experience working with logistics and insurance partners is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, International Business or related fields.
• Strong data analysis skills:
Knowledge of Power Pivot, Power Query, Power BI is an advantage
Excel (mandatory)
• Ability to work under high pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Preference for candidates with experience in import & distribution companies, especially in precious metals, FMCG, chemicals or pharmaceuticals.
• Good communication skills with strong negotiation and logical presentation abilities.
• Good command of English.
