Brighton College Vietnam at Vinhomes Ocean Park, Hanoi opened its doors to over 300 pupils in August 2023 and is continuing to expand with the number of pupils expected to double and cover years 1- 11. This is the first campus to be established under the partnership between Vingroup and Brighton College, one of the UK’s top private schools with nearly 200 years of history.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Line Manager: Deputy Head (Pastoral) who is also the DSL
A School Psychology Officer is dedicated to supporting pupils’ well- being by carrying out specific tasks, including:
You will be expected to work closely with the leadership team and the Heads of EAL, Additional Support and Pastoral Leads to ensure a multi- agency approach to supporting pupils.
 ASSESSMENT: Carry out psychological & educational assessments for pupils that are determined as in needs of help;
You will also have a keen understanding of safeguarding and work with the Deputy Head (Pastoral) as DSL to ensure that all pupils are supported and kept safe at all times.
 MONITORING: Observe and monitor pupils’ mental wellbeing; cooperate with related parties to gather all information and take actions in a timely manner;
 CONSULTATION: Directly support pupils who face psychological difficulties or social, behavioural or learning differences.
 COUNSELLING: Discuss and work closely with teachers, school staff, parents and experts to make sure that pupils are fully supported to deal with any psychological difficulties and challenges;
