[CIS] Library Intern

The Canadian International School System – Vietnam (CISS- VN) operates three programs in Ho Chi Minh City, consisting of CIS, BCIS, AES, and CVK. The Canadian International School (CIS) serves Kindergarten – Grade 12 students where the Ontario curriculum is taught. The IB Diploma Program is also offered to students in Grades 11 & 12.
The Canadian International School (CIS) is looking for potential candidates for the position of
Library​ Intern
with the following details:

Perform other duties as assigned.
Develop working rules of the library, rules of borrowing room and reading room.
Coordinate with relevant units in handling cases of not get back book and document of teachers and students
Well organize and manage the Library
Decorate boulletin board, display books
Propose, support library activities in monthy in order to motivate reading culture
Increase the search and exploitation, update scientific information, new books and documents.
Build folders, well arrange the library.
Periodically publish bibliographic information and introduce new books, documents, magazines and scientific & technological information to teachers and students.
Regularly check damaged books for repair.
Organize rooms, borrow reading rooms in a convenient way for teachers and students to read, research documents.
Handle new books arriving, stamps, barcodes…

Careful, meticulous, confidential and well organizer.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
Familiar with office computers skills;
Ability to organize work independently as well as a team player , ability to observe and handle problems quickly and effectively.
