Cloud Security / Data Loss Prevention Engineer

- Implement, monitor, and manage cloud security technologies with various Operation teams.
- Implement remediation efforts with stakeholders and continuous monitor effectiveness.
- Data monitor and protect as DPO.
- Actively monitor, assess and recommend strategic initiatives to mitigate emerging threats posing risk to company’s cloud computing environments.
- Develop and maintain secure, resilient enterprise cloud services with architects and system engineers.
- Research and evaluate new security technologies and trends; provide guidance to engineers, developers and project teams.
- Attend regular technical project and implementation meetings; serve as the security SME to help guide secure cloud infrastructure and application configurations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- CISSP or other relevant cybersecurity certification preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex security threats and risks into simple terms for non- technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience across IT Infrastructures with security frameworks, standards, and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, & HIPAA/HITECH.
- Proficient in network, cloud security tools and services (e.g. AWS Security Groups, AWS GuardDuty, AWS Rule Manager, AWS WAF, Azure Security Center, Azure Entra ID).
- Experienced in cloud networking architecture and cloud security operations management.
- Strong Linux and Windows support skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- Experience with risk- based testing and/or assessment of an organization’s cybersecurity posture, including leading and / or carrying out risk and vulnerability assessments (penetration testing, etc.)
- At least 4+ years’ experience in setup and managing public and private cloud security (e.g. AWS, AZURE).
