Duty station: This position will be based in HCMC office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Communications Executive reports directly to the General Manager and coordinates her/his activities with him. Her/his function includes but is not restricted to the following duties:
• Externally: represent the foundation to stakeholders, interested parties, and the public; serve as the company spokesperson to the media and the general public; develop and distribute materials that may explain or convey the foundation&039;s projects, programs, mission, vision and goals; issue press releases, arranging interviews, and compiling press kits
• Internally: responsible for ensuring that all staff are aware of projects, events, activities within the foundation; distributing executive messages, prepare presentations and internal memos, and conduct meetings to share information; developing print materials and branding strategies for employee use
• Regular executive tasks:
Develop and disseminate public relations materials that increase our visibility among stakeholders, especially teacher and student communities
Manage projects to ensure content is publication-ready and in by the deadline
Develop, support and promote the foundation’s goals, including message development, social media content creation and media outreach
Write copy for all initiatives, including marketing, fundraising and internal communications
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Ensure the TDF website and social media channels (Facebook page, LinkedIn page, YouTube, etc.) are up to date and have required functionality for full social media integration
Create and send out press releases for new projects, programs, events…
Assist in development and management of the social media and online learning platforms.
Create and manage regular newsletters via emails
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, donors and (government, departments, schools) partners that will help advance our work
Identify target audiences and create strategies to effectively engage them
Ensure digital marketing content aligns with our brand’s identity and message, and assist with marketing campaigns as needed
Directly plan, organize the communication campaign for specific events (before and/or after events)
