PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Issue product no. for new products as per system and maintain their records.
To discharge above indicated duties and responsibilities as delegated by Dept Head.
Send samples to customer through QA/Marketing and follow up for approval.
Any other task assigned from time to time.
Prepare PDQAS and PDQAR for the related product.
Release ECN’s for relevant changes in product design during development.
Co- ordinate and plan meeting of product development and reviewing.
Get prototypes made from tool room and production engineering.
Co- ordinate Design & Dev. for the product consisting of component drawing, sub Assy drawing, Assy drawing etc.
Prepare development schedule of product and ensure adherence.
Arrange over drawings for various products for approval from customer.
Implementation of QUALITY System
Maintain drawings, reference samples of exiting products and ensure proper storage.
Get Samples assembled and get them tested from lab as per specification.
Participate in analysis of warranty rejections and customer complaints and suggest corrective measure.
Do costing of the products and maintain their records.

Arrange test specifications of the product as per customer requirement.
Update existing product designs, for continues improvement.

Overall responsibility of following section of quality:
Routine supervision and guidance for QA Lab, Quality System, Calibration and PDQA.
Coordination of IMT’s repair in case of breakdown in SIR.
Approval for Calibration Work Instruction.
QA Lab Testing frequency finalization on the basis of the past performance on quarterly basis.
Negotiation for price / repair charge for IMT’s.
Control of approved vendor list on the basis of authorized approvals from the concerned departments.
Quality System
Conducting training on QUALITY SYSTEM awareness.
Calibration activities
Customer PPM reduction coordination
Coordination with auditors for internal quality audit as per plan (Quality System: ISO/TS 16949:2002).
Finalizing the new QA Lab facilities requirements (I/H as well as outside).
Quality inspection lab (reliability & durability testing)
Ensure adherence to all laid down QUALITY SYSTEM, identification of kaizens and their implementation.
