Job Summary:
We are looking for one or more psychologists specializing in consumer behavior to help us deeply understand the motivations and decision- making processes of our users. You will work closely with our product, marketing, and development teams to guide product selection, optimize the app’s interface, and design user journeys that focus on the psychological needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to define product selection strategies based on the psychological needs of consumers.
Develop user testing protocols to measure the impact of changes on consumer behavior.
Create consumer profiles (personas) based on psychological and behavioral data.
Advise on communication strategies to adopt a tone that resonates with users’ expectations and emotions.
Suggest improvements in the app design and user experience to boost engagement and conversions.
Analyze consumer trends and psychological factors influencing online purchasing decisions.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on user behavior (market studies, interviews, focus groups, etc.).
Assist in designing marketing campaigns by identifying psychological triggers that encourage purchasing.
Required Skills
Degree in Psychology with a specialization in consumer behavior, cognitive psychology, or marketing psychology.
Previous similar experience in an e- commerce or digital environment (startup experience is a MUST).
Knowledge of user research methodologies (interviews, ethnographic studies, etc.).
Strong problem- solving skills and the ability to propose innovative solutions related to purchasing behavior.
Ability to analyze behavioral data and translate psychological insights into actionable steps.
Familiarity with UX analysis tools and user testing.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of current trends in applied psychology for e- commerce.
Experience with behavioral data analysis tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.).
Experience in designing user interfaces or analyzing user journeys (UX/UI).
