Job Summary:
A Convention Sales Executive or Senior Sales Executive is responsible in sales activities and implementing events, and work closely with Sales Manager in successful achievement of budget. Keeping tracks with business result and assist in market research.
The primary responsibilities of a Convention Sales Executive include:
Sales and Marketing
Keeping track of ACC Business results and report to ACC ADOS & SM on weekly basis.
Monitor competitive set and communicate tactical changes to Manager.
Handle Site Inspections assigned by ACC SM
Assist with the preparation of new products and services
Composing weekly ACC sales report and monthly P&L report of ACC under guidance of ACC ADOS.
Assist in the evaluation of sales and marketing activities
Collect customer feedback and provide them to hotel management to contribute to improvement of hotel and respond if required
With Sales Manager plan sales strategy and implement tactics to achieve budget
Conduct ICCA platform lead research under guidance of ACC ADOS
Full coordination of confirmed groups and group requests. Issue BEOs, group resumes assigned by ACC ADOS & SM
Maintain a regular sales call pattern, ENT under guidance of ACC ADOS & SM
Conducting market research to assist with market positioning, new promotions and campaigns.
Issuing quotation and contract under guidance of ACC ADOS & ACC SM
Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, event planners, and industry influencers. Meeting with clients to understand their needs, negotiating contracts, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the planning and execution of events. Identifying opportunities for upselling additional services to clients.
Industry Knowledge and Trends: Keeping up- to- date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and stay ahead in the market. Attending industry conferences, seminars, and workshops to network and expand knowledge.
Revenue Generation: Monitoring and analyzing sales performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Collaboration with Cross- functional Teams: Collaborating with other departments such as catering, AV, and operations to ensure seamless execution of events and exceed client expectations. Assisting with event planning and coordination as required.
