Core Member for Business Launch Manager Candidate

We are looking for a technical leader who can take ownership of both engineering and management at our Vietnam subsidiary.If you love hands- on development and also enjoy supporting your team’s growth, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
[Main Responsibilities]

Work with the executive team to execute business initiatives
Oversee project schedules, quality, and problem solving
Take part in hiring processes (interviews, requirement definition, onboarding)
Manage and mentor development team members (including 1- on- 1s and career growth)
Lead product development both technically and practically
Collaborate closely with our Japanese headquarters to drive global development

[Development skills mainly used at SHIP]
Backend

Ruby (Ruby on Rails)
PHP (Laravel, Phalcon)
Node.js (Express, etc.)

Frontend

React.js
Next.js
Flutter (Mobile apps)

Infrastructure / Cloud

AWS (ECS, S3, RDS, etc.)

[Required Skills & Experience]
Must- Have:

Practical experience in people management (hiring, training, evaluation)
Currently active as a developer
5+ years of experience in web/mobile app development
1+ year of experience as a team lead or engineering manager
Strong ownership mindset with ability to identify and solve organizational issues
At least 5 years of hands- on experience in PHP or Ruby on Rails

Nice- to- Have:

Involvement in team building or recruitment strategies
Understanding of product management processes
Experience launching new projects or services
Business- level communication skills in English(Can speak a little Japanese)
Experience with modern development environments and tools
Experience in startups or agile development
Experience working at a Japanese company
Cloud experience with AWS or similar platforms
