Costing Analyst

Preparing the cost analysis and comparison reports.
Working closely with project engineers and vendors to prepare product BOM and tool plan for cost estimates.
Other Ad Hoc duties when assigned.
Participating in costing system development and system implementation.
Responsible for the cost negotiation with toys manufacturing companies and material suppliers.

Self- initiative with strong problem- solving skills
Respects the process and company’s practices while not afraid to challenge the status quo
Proficient in various PC applications (e.g. Microsoft Office) and familiar with CAD and Pro E.
Showing potential or ideally some relevant experience in coaching others, e.g. leading best practice, acting as escalation point, sharing experience and information
Good negotiation and interpersonal skills, and communication skills in both written and spoken English
Fast learner with a passion for continuous learning and expanding his/her technical skills is essential
Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement approaches (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing) and manufacturing processes is a definite advantage.
He/she will be an important part of driving the success of the team’s daily operation
Strong teamwork capability, be able to cooperate with colleagues from different background, department and levels
University graduate in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Engineering or equivalent.
Showing potential or ideally some relevant experience in leading and managing a project
Occasionally, he/she will be required to make operational decisions to ensure daily operation is efficient and effective
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in product costing preferably with experience in toys manufacturing, product engineering, industrial engineering or procurement in manufacturing industry.
