The ideal candidate will craft compelling online stories around our merchandise while grounding decisions in data and market insights.
Responsibilities
Site Merchandising Strategy: Design, develop, and relentlessly optimize our site merchandising strategy, ensuring a visually compelling presentation that harmoniously showcases our curated assortment, optimizes product positioning, and maximizes cross- sell and up- sell opportunities (through strategic product placement and recommendations).
Performance Analysis: Continuously harness site analytics, translating insights into actionable enhancements for our merchandising strategy and promotional activities.
Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of the e- commerce curve, integrating innovative merchandising techniques and technologies that captivate our customers.
Team Development: Inspire and lead the site merchandising team, emphasizing creativity, agility, and performance.
Promotional Activities: Spearhead the ideation, planning, and execution of impactful promotional campaigns. Collaborate closely with Category and Buying teams to ensure timely and cohesive promotions that resonate with our target audience, enhance brand value, and drive revenue.
Site Content Development: Oversee the crafting of site content that supports product launches, promotions, and other marketing campaigns. Manage the site’s visual narrative, ensuring it aligns with our brand ethos and tells engaging product stories.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Design, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Mastery of e- commerce platforms and tools, with a strong grasp of web analytics.
7 years of experience in online merchandising, with a proven track record of balancing analytics with creative output.
Demonstrated success in cross- selling and up- selling strategies.
Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
Exceptional aesthetic sensibility and familiarity with design principles.
Ability to innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing e- commerce landscape.
