Credit Risk Management

l Maintain bad debt and bad debt recovery exposures to within acceptable risk appetite levels. Conduct periodic stress tests and scenario analysis, assessing the impact to the credit portfolio and make appropriate recommendations to senior management for appropriate action
l Review of creditworthiness and risks associated with potential business transactions with appropriate tools and models, with a view to providing mitigants to identified risks.
l Research and analyze risk trends and industry benchmarking to prepare for and monitor upstream risks and issues while reporting to the senior management, as appropriate, on effective mitigation strategies.
l Take a proactive approach to advance teamwork, transparency, and accountability.
l Demonstrate capabilities associated with leadership, influence, motivation, and oversight to enable effective challenge to the Business Division(s).

lStrategic vision and organization/marketplace awareness.
l5+ years’ experience working in a large, complex financial service organization
lProblem solving skills as well as flexibility and adaptability are of key importance.
lStrong working knowledge of the risks associated with the Business Division/Unit product and service mix and a track record of partnering with business management to implement effective control and oversight programs.
lBachelor’s degree required
lStrong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with others at all levels across the organization.
