Custom Strategy and Compliance Senior Specialist

Manage and update information and date in local customs and foreign trade systems including GTS where applicable
Manage registration and qualification for AEO and duty-free regulations
Implement reports around customs and foreign trade
Ensuring compliance with the customs and foreign trade policies in the country, implementation measures to cover legal requirements and laws
Analyze and implementation of preferences
Offer consultation for sourcing, pricing, preferences, best solutions for the import and export of goods, CFT compliance
Coordinate internal and external audits related to customs and foreign trade and ensure compliance to all customs procedures
Participate in customs and government meetings where required, coordinate government visits
Handling of balance sheet reports required for customs audits
Analyze and ensure the right usage of tariff classifications such as HS codes, control and monitor budgets and cost related to duty payments including cost on brokerage
Participate in projects for customs and foreign trade or from partner functions

Fluent Oral and Written English or German
Expert on customs and foreign trade, especially on legal obligations
Foreign trade and customs expertise
Business Laws Domestic and international Trade Knowledge
Understanding of Domestic International Logistics Service Market
Ability to drive self-initiated projects that impact multiple functions
Project Management methodology
Oral and written presentation Skills
Completed study in the area logistics / supply chain management / foreign trade or comparable qualification
At least 3 years’ work experience in an international company in the area logistics / supply chain
Negotiation Skills
Logistics and Supply Chain Process (especially VSC)
