Customs Staff

Responsible for managing
customs declaration processes
, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments, ensuring timely and compliant import/export operations, and supporting documentation for Certificates of Origin (C/O) and customs procedures.

Request necessary documents (e.g., Arrival Notice, Debit Note) from freight forwarders for customs procedures.
Prepare and submit documents to apply for Certificates of Origin (C/O).
Coordinate with couriers to provide shipment modes and HS code details.
Review shipping documents received from suppliers and coordinate corrections if needed.
Report the status of completed and pending customs declarations to the manager.
Communicate with the warehouse to confirm container loading schedules.
Submit customs declaration data via the VNACCS system.
Register new materials and products in the VNACCS system before submitting shipment data.
Notify trucking services once customs clearance is completed.
Work in Quang Ngai
Prepare and send weekly and monthly customs reports to the manager and accounting department.
Determine the correct HS codes for all goods.
Coordinate with the logistics team to confirm shipment arrivals.

Education:

College/ Bachelor&039;s degree in Economics, Foreign Trade, or a related field.
Customs Declaration Certificate is a plus.

Experience:

At least 2 years of hands- on experience in customs declaration.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing company.

Knowledge:

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email.
Experience using the VNACCS customs system.
Understanding of Certificate of Origin requirements.
Strong knowledge of customs regulations, HS code classification, and import- export documentation.

Skills & Abilities:

Good communication and coordination skills.
Able to read and compose professional emails in English.
Fluent in Vietnamese and English (verbal and written).
Detail- oriented, well- organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.

*Note: Work Schedule:

Shift work on a rotating basis:Split Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PMNight Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Employees rotate between the two shifts once every quarter.
