Workingknowledgeofcontainerisation andpublic and private Cloud environments.
Practicalknowledge of handling varied types ofstructured and unstructureddata (text, tabular, graph,time- series, geospatial, image, etc.).
You have experiencedelivering projectstodeadlines, with an emphasis on quality, ideally inclient facing contexts.
Excellentand practicaldataprogramming skillswith experience indifferent programming languages likeJava or Python.
An understanding ofcommon approaches todata analysis, machine learning and data visualisation so you canproduce the right datafor data consumers.
Experience ofdesigning,buildingand maintainingdataproductsthatmeet the needs of data consumers.
Knowledgeable about information securityand data governance.
Familiaritywith big data infrastructures and concepts for storing and processing large and/or heterogeneous data volumes.
Experiencewith a variety of approaches to dataarchitectures(e.g.Data Lake, Data Mesh,Data Warehouse,streaming, batch processing)
Hands- on experience with databasesboth relationalandNoSQL.
You would have the opportunityto work witha variety of technologies and tools, including:
Programming Languages–Java, Python, SQL.
Databases- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Hive
Orchestration and Containerisation– Airflow, Docker
Big Data Frameworks– Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
Cloud environments–AWS/GCP/Azure
