Data Engineer

Participating in Global ADVN&039;s products and building internal projects specializing in geospatial and logistics product applications.
Key responsibilities:
● Creating and optimizing the query on the geospatial databases.
● Creating and maintaining data for geospatial and logistics applications, specializing in address, boundary data, and road/route networks. Collecting data from multiple sources, unifying and transforming them into valuable data for applications, services, or machine learning model training.
● Research, prototype, design, build, and test production geospatial data pipelines, tools, and associated software systems.
● Customizing and enhancing geospatial- related open- source code and data. Make them available for the products.
● Streamlining existing processing tasks by means of automation in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load).
● Support strategic thinking and processes related to infrastructure, geospatial data pipelines, software development, and deployment.

● Must have 1+ years of experience at Data Engineer position or a similar role.
● Experience with programming using Python and data- related libraries like numpy, pandas, geopandas, pyspark…
● Good logical thinking skills, hard- working, and responsible at work.
● Proficiency in data integration with RDBMS technologies such as Postgres/SQLite.
● Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
● Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
Good to Have:
● Experience in NodeJS is a plus.
● Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive is a plus.
● Experience in designing, building, and testing geospatial data solutions is a big plus.
● Experience working with tracking devices is a plus.
● Experience in NLP (Natural Language Processing) is a plus.
● Experience in ElasticSearch is a big plus.
● Experience with Docker, or similar container platforms/concepts is a plus.
Having Architecture/Infra knowledge or experience is a plus
