Data Engineer C#/.NET/SQL

As a Data Engineer, you will be the bridge between our new clients and our CRM, handling some of the most challenging, high- value data jobs.
Your primary responsibilities will include:

Client Consultation: Communicate directly with clients via email and video calls to understand data schemas, set expectations, and resolve post- import feedback.
Data Migration Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of data imports and exports, including data transfer between users and critical client exit data exports.
ETL Optimization: Continuously improve existing C- based ETL processes for efficiency, performance, and scalability as we encounter new data structures.
Database Maintenance: Perform essential maintenance operations, including index optimization and query performance tuning on MS SQL Server.
Complex Data Ingestion: Design and develop custom, bespoke data pipelines (C Console Applications) and Azure data pipelines (like Azure Data Factory) to ingest highly diverse and complex data sources (JSON, XML, Excel, database backups, etc.) from external CRMs into our MS SQL Server.

Technical Expertise

Deep knowledge of MS SQL Server and advanced T- SQL scripting.
Strong expertise with C and Entity Framework.
Proven background in the full ETL process (Import, Transformation, Export) for complex datasets.
Experience in creating and managing data import pipelines; familiarity with Azure Data Factory or similar tools is a strong advantage.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure, TeamCity, GitHub Actions) is a plus.

Soft Skills

Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Professional working proficiency in English (B2+ level) for daily communication with our international team and clients.
Exceptional critical attention to detail for data consistency and accuracy.
Clear communication and client- facing skills including email and meeting interactions
