The Data Engineers are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports the customers’ data science initiatives. This includes building data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
We are looking for Data Engineering engineers to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices, as well as experience with a variety of data technologies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Stay up- to- date on the latest data technologies
Design, develop, and maintain the customers&039; data infrastructure
Build data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from a variety of sources
Build data warehouses and data lakes to store and manage data
Develop and deploy data processing and analytics tools
Work with data scientists to develop and deploy data- driven solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Bachelor&039;s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field
Excellent programming skills in Python or Scala
Experience with a variety of data technologies, such as Databricks, ADF (Azure Data Factory)
Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive is a plus
1- 3+ years of experience in data engineering
Experience with data visualization tools, such as PowerBI is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure, with a strong focus on AWS.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in SQL
