Data Engineer SQL, ADF Cosmos DB

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Engineer to support our cloud- based data infrastructure. This role is responsible for deploying and managing SQL Servers and Cosmos DB, developing and optimizing T- SQL queries, and designing Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for data integration. The ideal candidate will ensure performance, security, and availability of database systems while automating data processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor database performance, indexing, and security to ensure reliability.
Build and manage ADF pipelines for data integration and automation.
Develop, tune, and troubleshoot T- SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
Configure, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases and Cosmos DB in Azure.

Requirements:

Strong T- SQL skills and expertise in query optimization.
Experience with database security, performance tuning, and data governance.
3+ years experience with SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Factory.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database and ETL issues independently.
Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
Familiarity with networking and authentication in Azure.

Nice- to- Have:

Experience with Azure DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
