Data Engineer (Sql/Tableau)

You are responsible for delivering and implementing the technical solution determined by theTechnical Lead- Analytics
Provide accurate estimates for the development requirements, working within agreed estimates and notifying Technical Lead promptly of any slippage or issues
Perform functional testing on the new developments to meet the agreed "definition of done" for Analytics
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members

Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or in a related field
3- 4 year experience in IT Software, including at least 2 year experience in SQL
Practical experience in SQL Databases, as well as the techniques for troubleshooting functional and performance issues
Practical understanding of relevant software for building out cloud- hosted enterprise data analytics features (predominantly a blend of Microsoft Azure and Tableau)
Able to work with data as data, not needing to necessarily understand the context of the application
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Strong at communicating in English
Clear, concise communication, along with logical/analytical skills Get familiar with the Agile Development Methodology

The following is considered highly advantageous:

Knowledge in design skills with a focus on how the dashboards engage the user in a positive experience
Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen and respond appropriately, clearly getting to the core of messages, both verbally and in writing
