Data Engineer

Job Objective:

Be part of the data & and analytics center of excellence (CoE) working on a wide range of data infrastructure and data engineering projects across

Key Responsibilities:
Data Architecture:

Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture, and implement new data systems where needed.
Drive the delivery of data products and services into systems and business processes in compliance with internal regulatory requirements.
Understanding of Information Security principles and technologies and Serving as the team&039;s authority on data infrastructure, privacy controls and data relevant security

Data Integration:

Ability to build reports and data visualizations, using data from data warehouse or other sources and mapping are helpful (but not required).
Collaborate with engineers on building & and maintaining back- end services
Monitoring and quality assurance within the system (Server/ Services/ETL /Networking/Security).
Ensure data assets are organized and stored in an efficient way

Project Management:

Understand business, and technical requirements and design effective solutions.
Experience working in Agile teams is a plus
Work with team leads to resolve people problems and projects to ensure maximum productivity.

Key skills and requirements:

Experience SQL with relational databases as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases is a big plus. o Ability to communicate in English
At least 1 year experience (typically 2+ years) in Data Engineering and ETL and Analytics tools (R, Python) and Visualization systems
Experience with the Networking/Security is a plus (but not required).
Experience with building data pipelines from various business applications and databases.
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology, MIS, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Securities).
