Data Labeling Specialist

Ensure dataset consistency by following defined ontologies and classification structures
Request and handle various data types of fitness, exercise, nutrition, and health- related data from different sources (website, PDF, document…)
Annotate food & fitness images to support meal tracking and workout recognition
Classify and label different data categories, including: workout & exercise, nutrition, fitness tracking, and related data
Find and verify the image suitable for recipes or ingredients
Regular quality checks on labeled data must be conducted to maintain high accuracyIdentify automation opportunities to improve data labeling speed and efficiency
Optimize, clean, and standardize raw datasets to ensure proper classification and usability

Ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies in data
Good written English skill
Basic experience labeling and tagging data (text, images, videos, numerical datasets)
Ability to validate and cross- check data accuracy using multiple sources
Strong critical thinking and problem- solving skills for data optimization
Have at least 1 year of experience in a Data Labeling role
Understanding of data cleaning techniques to improve dataset quality
Associates, or advanced degrees preferred
Basic experience working with structured & unstructured datasets
Proficient in Google Sheets, Excel, or Office skills for organizing and managing data
Comfortable working in cross- functional teams (data scientists, AI engineers, health experts)
Nice to have:
Interest in sports science, physiology, or AI- driven fitness tech is a plus
Detail- Oriented & Accurate – Ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in datasets
Patient & Focused – Comfortable with large- scale repetitive data tasks
