Database Administrator

Principle duties:
Operate (deploy, manage & maintain) database system, ensure the availability and security for the data.
Responsibilities:
- Follow ISMS/ISO 27001, ISO20000, ISO14000 procedure, policies, and company regulations
- Responsible for database creation, maintenance and administration functions for all database environments including database tuning, upgrading, patching….
- Provide troubleshooting, solving and investigating for IT incidents
- Manage user & user right on the database system
- Co-ordinate with NOC team and Infrastructure team in incident/problem solving
- Manage the data lifecycle to ensure the performance and security of the system
- Support for System Administrator team to deploy new version of Software/ Application which has change in database
- Ensure the backup/restore is working as plan and the capability of disaster recovery for customer data
- Support for daily operation of Production and other departments in data mining and data manipulation
Other duties as assigned by IT Manager & Direct Manager.

*** Education:
- University Degree in Computer Science or IT
*** Technology skills and experience:
- Data management, data lifecycle, data encryption, backup/restore
- PostgreSQL is a must, MySQL, MS. SQL, NoSQL
- SQL and store procedure programming
*** Soft-skills:
- Strong troubleshooting & analyzing
- English communication
- Customer oriented
- Problem solving
