Database Administrator

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in database management and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to support the organization's business and technological needs.

• Manage PostgreSQL, MySQL (MariaDB), and MSSQL database design and architecture, ensuring high availability and security, and performing routine maintenance (tuning, backup/recovery, monitoring).


• Analyze user requirements and system specifications, developing database architecture and system design documentation.


• Perform routine data backup and restore tasks to ensure data integrity and resiliency.


• Monitor and evaluate database stability/risk periodically or in case of incidents, optimizing performance to meet business requirements.


• Develop and implement security measures to protect data and ensure regulatory compliance.


• Resolve database-related issues, advising on processes, documentation, and regulations.


• Support development teams and end-users in database design, implementation, and optimization.


• Research and apply new database technologies for future projects.


• Maintain and support multiple projects simultaneously.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.


• 3-5 years of experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL (MariaDB), and MSSQL.


• Experience designing secure, high-availability database architectures.


• Skilled in performance optimization, data backup, recovery, and monitoring.


• Ability to analyze requirements and create system design documentation.


• Experience implementing data security measures and ensuring compliance.


• Proficiency in query optimization and performance management.


• Effective communication with development teams and end-users.


• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


• Strong problem-solving skills.


• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, Certified PostgreSQL DBA, or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) for MySQL (preferred).
