Database Developer (Remote) - SQL, PostgreSQL

We provide a wide array of CES solution ranging from Contact Centre Infrastructure, Unified Communications, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions. Responsibilities

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through query optimization, indexing, and other tuning techniques.
Data warehouse design and implementation.
Collaborate with backend developers and system architects to design and implement efficient and scalable PostgreSQL database solutions.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to address issues and implement solutions.
Provide support and guidance to development teams on database- related matters.
Manage user access and permissions, ensuring proper authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Investigate and resolve database- related issues, including performance problems, errors, and data inconsistencies.
Define database schema, tables, indexes, and relationships based on application requirements.

Requirements

Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, internals, and features.
Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Developer.
Able to carry out tasks with little or no supervision.
Experience in database security management.
Proficient in English (speaking and writing).
Familiarity with high- availability, replication, and clustering solutions.
Excellent problem- solving and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database performance tuning.
