Demand and Supply Planning Team Leader

Mission:
This position reports to Senior Demand & Supply Planning Team Leader.
This is a highly integrated position, interfacing with virtually every department internally.
Ideal candidate for this role is passionate about data analysis and relentless in searching for insights that will serve to optimize inventory, forecast accuracy and minimize transportation costs.
The mission of a Lovepop Demand & Supply Planning Team Leader is to ensure our company’s operations are timely, efficient and cost effective. You will assist all demand & supply duties including demand forecast, inventory management, supply planning.
Objective measures of success:
● Placing replenishment orders.
● Monitor SKU levels and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives in the future
● Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets).
● Design and generate weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports.
● Lead forecast and inventory planning meetings with Product Managers, reviewing recommended sales forecasts and inventory goals
● Evolving and maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems.
● Manage the demand and inventory planning
● Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality and inventory levels.
● Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends.
● Relating and measuring the impact of forecast accuracy.
● Continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach.
● Conduct current and future forecasting analysis, ensuring forecasting processes and methods are followed.

● Background in supply chain management and demand forecasting are required.
● Exhibiting intellectual curiosity, a passion to learn and an ability to maintain a positive attitude.
● Enjoy math and have strong numbers and logic skills
● Fluent in English writing, communication.
● E- commerce, Amazon, Retail demand planning experience.
● A self starter who takes initiative and is flexible and adaptive to changing priorities.
● Work well with multiple cross- functional partners, stating your point of view with confidence but also open to hearing others’ perspectives.
● Advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheet and experience with large data sets are essential
