Demand Forecasting & Data Analysis
- Use statistical modeling techniques and forecasting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SAP IBP, Demand Solutions) to support demand planning processes.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, promotional activities, seasonality, and customer behavior to build accurate short- term and long- term forecasts.
Cross- functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to gather insights and align forecasts with commercial and operational plans.
- Actively participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to drive consensus on demand forecasts and inventory strategies.
Forecast Accuracy & Process Optimization
- Continuously improve forecasting processes by proposing new tools, automation, or methods that enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor forecast accuracy (e.g., Forecast Bias, MAPE), identify root causes of variances, and implement corrective actions.
Risk Management & Scenario Planning
- Conduct scenario planning to assess risks and opportunities related to demand volatility.
- Recommend contingency plans to mitigate supply- demand imbalances.
Team Management (if applicable)
- Delegate tasks, track progress, and ensure quality and timeliness of deliverable
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of demand planners or analysts (if team structure applies).
YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC/ JOB REQUIREMENTS
Trình độ học vấn, chuyên môn/ Education background: College/University in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
Kinh nghiệm/ Working Experience: At least 5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting, with 1–2 years in a managerial or leadership role preferred.
Năng lực/ Competency:
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (e.g., time series analysis, moving average, exponential smoothing)
- Understanding of supply chain dynamics and inventory management principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross- functional teams- Proficiency in demand planning software and tools
- Business acumen and ability to interpret market trends and economic factors
- Strong data analysis skills and advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
Time: 8 AM- 5 PM from Monday to Saturday
