Demand Supply Planner/ DRP Planner

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES
DRP planner will run the DRP processes, following the Short, mid and long term analysis, and being in collaboration with the different stake holders that participates on the cycles, meaning, Demand Business Partners, Product Leaders, Export Distribution Centers, Plant Business Partners among others.
Tasks include

Ensure that obsolescence Risk is shared in the appropriate meeting and actions are taken to review next cycle.
Check the DRP calculation results and provide alerts and recommendations to plants and markets, following the segmentation a prioritization agreed in the standard Service Level Agreement.
Monitors deployment plan considering the balance between internal service level and costs optimizing profit.
Check that interfaces between SC systems and ERP systems run properly and adjust when necessary or include new parametrization from new products. (planning parameters).
Implement and execute the Stock Policy, and when applicable, identification of new parameters set needed to align on plants and markets.
Provide regular visibility to management, markets, plants and platforms regarding supply constraints or demand changes.
Check that any actions required by stake holders agreed are performed on due date, before running the DRP.

Additional Responsibilities

Execute or Participates on the Crisis Management process when applicable and is able to share the outcome of information and action within the DRP team.
She / He will be responsible to apply the standard Rules of Security and Safety.
She / he will drive initiatives and will participate in continuous improvement program to enrich the ways of working and identify new opportunities within the perimeter of the business to get efficiencies.

EDUCATION

Tertiary education in Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics , Economics or Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

Pharmaceutical industry and its constraints
Working from Regional Headquarters and providing services to local teams
3 or 4 years’ experience in supply planning or DRP
Production Plan Management experience is highly valuable

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS

Solid knowledge of the tools we use for DRP calculations: Planning tools logic like Kinaxis, SAP, Manugistics, others,…
Data manipulation tools (Excel, Power Point, Teams, ERP- Planning Tools)
DRP calculation with date- sensitive inventory (preemption)
