Deputy Logistic Operations Manager

Manage, train, and develop an export team of at least 5 members, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Monitor and control export- related costs to ensure budget adherence and cost optimization.
Lead and manage the end- to- end export operations, including bulk vessel shipments and container bookings.
Liaise closely with customs authorities and other regulatory agencies to expedite clearance and handle complex issues effectively.
Prepare and present regular reports on export operations, performance metrics, and issue resolutions to senior management.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with transportation providers (including truckers, tractor units, barges) to ensure flexible, cost- effective logistics solutions.
Proactively resolve operational issues arising at ports related to cargo handling and customs documentation to minimize delays.
Review and verify the completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of export documentation prepared by the team, ensuring error- free submissions to customs and other authorities.
Supervise, guide, and support the export team in preparing various types of Certificates of Origin (C/O), including complex forms, to secure preferential tariff treatment and cost savings.

Proactive problem solver with the ability to perform well under pressure.
Fluency in English, Microsoft Office
In- depth knowledge of export procedures, customs regulations, and international trade documentation
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading a team of at least 5 staff.
Proven track record in managing and coaching teams on the preparation of complex Certificates of Origin (C/O) to optimize tariff benefits.
Strong experience in reviewing and auditing export documentation to identify and rectify discrepancies promptly.
Skilled in budget management and cost control related to export logistics.
Demonstrated ability in managing export shipments via bulk vessels and container bookings.
Expertise in handling port- related operational challenges and customs clearance processes.
Extensive network with logistics providers and customs officials to facilitate smooth operations.
