Deputy Technical Manager

1.Overall Role Objective
The Deputy Technical Manager is responsible to support the Technical Manager for checking the activities linked to the transportation, the equipment, the Utilities and issuing a maintenance plan for the fleet and for warehouse's machines & warehouse’s equipment. He is in charge as well to protect the Company's property: fleet, warehouse’s machines, warehouse’s equipment. He is supporting the Technical Manager for all technical items (including the troubleshooting) and the follow up for new projects and development. Monitoring of 5S/Kaizen/Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and following all activities as per our Company Work processes and policies. As Deputy Technical Manager, he will focus more on Electrical Parts (low and extra low voltage) and will be based in our Phu My Warehouse full time.
He is willing to go on Business travel as per Company requirement.
2.Responsibilities & Expected Results
The Deputy Technical Manager's specific responsibilities include (but not limited to):
a.To manage the working condition of trucks, warehouse’s machines, warehouse’s equipment, Utilities, networks and cameras system.
b.Issue and control checklist daily/weekly/monthly.
c.Responsible for 5S/Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) for the transportation team & the maintenance team on daily basis
d.Ensure all activities to follow our Company Work Processes/Policies
e.Ensure all activities are in line with our HSE policies and rules and Regulations
f.Manage the maintenance plan daily/weekly/monthly with regular reporting to the Head of Operation
g.Check maintenance result and propose improvement plan
h.Make daily/weekly/monthly report to the Technical Manager and the Country Operations Manager on the maintenance plan and the result of maintenance (with estimated costs).
i. Assist the Technical Manager for controlling the maintenance cost effectively and report to him.
j. Ensure that the fleet, warehouse utilities, warehouse's machines and warehouse's equipment are in good condition and safe.
k.Make training plan, train and coach the maintenance team. Be responsible of HSE rules application by the Maintenance Team.
I.To have authority to stop operating truck/trailer/machines/equipment if they are recognized as unsafe or if affects truck/trailer/machines/equipment.
m. In charge to recommend ideas for the development or a better efficiency of the operations.
nIn charge with the Technical Manager of all technical subjects for our Phu My Site as well
as for new projects or development of the Company new assets
0. To have authority to suspend the transportation team & maintenance team if any risk is found out during transportation & operation, then report to the Manager for his final decision
