Design Database Librarian

DESIGN DATABASE IMPLEMENTATION

Train and support team member on how to effectively use the database and find the information they need quickly.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive database repository for all design- related data, ensuringaccuracy, organization, and accessibility.
Implement best practices for data organization, storage, and security to safeguard sensitive design information to relevant parties.

DATA MAINTENANCE

Regular data clean- ups/reviews ensure to maintenance of only accurate and relevant data
Work closely with merchandising/product development/sales to understand and have the latest status of designs.
Categorizing and tagging design assets in the database to ensure easy search and retrieval based on an understanding of design styles/materials/product categories.

PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE ANALYSIS

Identification of outliers and semi- regular product lifecycle reviews
Activity and status reports on designs.
Identifying and reporting the gaps within the libraries

Bachelor’s degree: Business Administration, Supply Chain or related

Strong analytical skills with ability to use data and set logical workflows to gather and verify data
Experience with Product Information Management Systems or Database Management
of general work experience: 1- 2 years
Strong technical aptitude and analytical mindset with problem- solving skills, comfortable learning data analysis tools.
Ability to articulate & simplify complex flows of data and information and communicate clearly and effectively
