Developer Experience Engineer English, DevOps

This position is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining platforms, tools, and processes to enhance the developer experience and improve engineering productivity. You will work closely with development teams to understand their needs, automate processes, and promote best practices in software development.
[Responsibilities]

Automate development processes using tools like GitHub Actions.
Promote best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with development teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and create technical documentation.
Support and train team members to enhance their overall skills.
Act as a "servant leader," helping development teams achieve their goals.
Collect and visualize key development metrics using tools like Apache DevLake.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development environments and processes.
Provide and maintain standardized development environments using Docker and DevContainers.
Design, build, and maintain tools and platforms to improve the developer experience.

Must have:

Intermediate level in English communication.
Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and stay self- motivated.
Experience in software development or DevOps.
Passion for helping others and improving the developer experience.
Experience with GitHub Actions or similar automation platforms.

Nice to have:

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Passion for helping others and improving the developer experience.
Hands- on experience with build automation tools like Maven.
Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Intermediate level in English communication.
Experience with development environment tools like DevContainers.
Intermediate level in Japanese communication.
Experience with using AI solution for improve development experience for example experience with AI- powered code review tools.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with metrics collection and visualization tools like DevLake.
Experience working on large- scale, mission- critical systems.
Strong interest in the latest trends in CI/CD and development efficiency tools, with a proactive attitude toward trying them out.
