Development/Bulk Merchandiser

Job description:
Development:
- Receive sample comments and discuss with customers to finalize before production orders.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Sample room and other related departments to ensure raw materials for production.
- Coordinate with bulk production team to ensure bulk production met customers’ requirements.
- Source materials and develop samples, look for suppliers and negotiate prices.
- Check on fabric and packing materials prices for preparation of cost sheets.
- Report to direct managers.
- In charge of costing sheet, ensure cost sheets are prepared with accuracy and review with managers, make FOB prices and negotiate with customers.
- Participate in the production of making samples. Develop trims, prints, embroidery for submission and ensure samples are approved.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure samples are delivered on time and the quality of samples are met.
Bulk:
- Based on orders to work out T&A upon production plan provided by Planner.
- Follow up raw material delivery status and production progress at the factories.
- Follow up with production for timely completion as planned.
- Handle replenishment schedules (if any).
- Closely work with related departments to ensure the accuracy of their work, the completion of T&A by deadlines.
- Resolve daily issues in a timely manner, report to upper levels if any issues out of tracks.
- Prepare trim cards, dye lot, s/off for approval before distributing to bulk production.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Sample room and other related departments to ensure raw materials for production.
- Keep systems updated from Material Issuance to Goods ship-out.
- Coordinate with Development MR, HQ MR, customers to prepare accurate trim cards.
- Receiving PO from customer and order fabrics and trims following material list and maintain budget of costing.

- 2-3 years of experience in similar position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Planning and organising skills
- Fluent in English
