DevOps Engineer

As a Mid- Level DevOps Engineer at Gearment, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and cost- efficiency of our infrastructure and applications. You will work collaboratively with the DevOps team to optimize system performance, enhance monitoring and recovery capabilities, and streamline processes for development teams. Your primary responsibility will be to implement and manage infrastructure designed by Technical Leaders and Management, ensuring high availability and seamless integration with ongoing projects.

Development tool set up to improve the Engineers&039; productivity
Manage and monitor infrastructure costs within a defined budget, ensuring spending stays below 1% of company revenue.
Migrate all multiple clouds to centralized cloud AWS.
Set up the infrastructure with the Technical leader to ensure high stability and scalability.
Build up the Logging and Monitoring system for our infrastructures and applications to support Developers and Management.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for all Gearment projects.
Ensure that all infrastructure follows security best practices and aligns with company policies and industry standards.
Deliver excellent SLA and SLO for the DevOps team

Containerize Orchestration: Experience in container technology and its concepts, such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, and AWS EKS.
Extensive experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD processes using self- managed tools or relevant cloud technologies (e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
2 – 4 years in DevOps or a related role.
Understanding of all Amazon AWS services, Digital Ocean, and GCP. A big plus with an AWS certificate.
Good DevOps mindset and excellent team player (Calm, Cooperative, Problem- solving focus, no Ego, Trust, and Respect)
Well- working experience with source control and related concepts (Git, Gitflow, branches, tags, etc.)
Hands- on experience operating and maintaining highly intensive RDBMS/NoSQL databases and search engines (e.g. Postgres, Elasticsearch, etc.).

Big Plug:

Knowledge of community best practices in security: OWASP, e.g.
Logging systems such as Elastic Stack (ELK/EFK), and Graylog.
Have knowledge and work experience with one of the following monitor systems such as Telegraform, InfluxDB, Grafana, AWS Cloudwatch, Prometheus
Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and software design.
Error exception tracking & APM tracing such as Sentry, NewRelic APM, Datadog APM, Elasticsearch APM is a big plus
Advanced Database tuning and debugging skills (slow query identification, performance tuning, security hardening, high- availability setup)
