Teko is looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer. As a team member, you will be exposed to all production services and infrastructure. This allows you to be a significant multiplier on Teko’s product velocity. Our goal is to create a culture of service ownership, deploy immutably, and remove manual judgments while automating the entire process to increase safety and confidence.
As a DevOps Engineer at Teko, you are responsible for:
Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
Share the responsibility of being on- call.
Monitor and troubleshoot application or system issues by deep- diving into technical problems. This requires you to deeply understand the application and infrastructure stack. That&039;s why it&039;s a big plus if you are an ex- backend engineer.
Build SLI/SLO for infrastructure & services following the concept of SRE.
Deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and scalability in hybrid environments (GCP and on- prem).
Collaborate with development teams to extend and optimize applications in various programming languages.
Build an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to enable developers to self- manage (build, deploy, and monitor service) with great quality and follow best practices. Help to build a DevOps culture for the entire company.
From time to time, raise your standard, learn and share your knowledge with other team members.
Improve our CI/CD pipeline to speed up the deployment process, using data insights for automated canary analysis and rollbacks, helping us release more often and with better quality.
