DevOps Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail- oriented DevOps Engineer (Junior) to support our development and operations teams in deploying, monitoring, and managing applications in cloud and on- premises environments.
The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in DevOps practices, is comfortable with basic scripting, and is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
What you’d do:
DevOps Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain configuration management scripts using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent.
Monitor, optimize, and maintain cloud and on- premise infrastructure.
Ensure system security through compliance with best practices and by managing firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
Collaborate with development teams to streamline code integration and release cycles.
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for infrastructure and applications.

IT Support Responsibilities:

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in systems like Active Directory, Google Workspace, or equivalent.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents and service requests within SLAs.
Train employees in best practices for using IT systems securely and efficiently.
Conduct routine system maintenance and updates to ensure high availability.
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network- related issues for employees.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, and related peripherals.

What we need you:

1+ year- experience in the same role

Required Skills:

Familiarity with network troubleshooting and security protocols.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Solid understanding of Linux and Windows systems administration.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Hands- on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
Familiarity with database management (SQL and NoSQL).
Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper- V.
