Strategic Revenue Leadership
• Develop and lead the hotel’s revenue management strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.
• Work closely with the General Manager and Group Director of Sales & Marketing to set annual budget and forecast targets.
• Analyze business performance and recommend actions to improve RevPAR, GOPPAR, and overall profitability.
• Chair the weekly Revenue Strategy Meeting with Sales, Front Office, and F&B to review forecasts, booking pace, and competitive positioning.
• Optimize pricing, inventory, and distribution channels across all segments to maximize revenue.
Forecasting & Budgeting
• Ensure that forecasts are data- driven, realistic, and support operational planning and staffing.
• Provide demand analysis and identify booking patterns to support strategic decision- making.
• Contribute to the annual business plan and budget preparation for the property.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts for rooms, ADR, and occupancy.
Pricing & Inventory Management
• Work with Front Office and Reservations teams to ensure inventory control accuracy and revenue optimization.
• Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies based on market conditions, competitor pricing, and demand patterns.
• Manage overbooking and displacement analysis to ensure maximum yield.
• Ensure the hotel’s rate integrity across all distribution channels and maintain compliance with corporate pricing policies.
Market Analysis & Business Intelligence
• Evaluate business mix and recommend adjustments in sales and distribution strategies to maintain optimal segment balance.
• Monitor external factors such as city events, economic trends, and seasonality to anticipate demand shifts.
• Conduct regular competitive set analysis (pricing, occupancy, and segmentation).
• Utilize revenue management systems (RMS) and business intelligence tools to generate insights and performance reports.
Distribution & E- Commerce Optimization
• Manage relationships with online partners and distribution vendors.
• Ensure rate parity and content accuracy across all digital platforms.
• Collaborate with e- commerce or distribution teams to optimize digital visibility and conversion rates.
• Oversee all online distribution channels, including OTA, GDS, brand website, and third- party platforms.
Collaboration & Communication
• Partner closely with Sales, Reservations, and Operations teams to ensure strategy execution and target achievement.
• Ensure transparent communication of pricing and distribution strategies across all departments.
• Provide training to key departments on revenue management principles and tools.
• Represent the hotel in regional revenue meetings or corporate strategy sessions when required.
Reporting & Analysis
• Provide variance analysis between forecast and actual performance, explaining key drivers.
• Identify revenue opportunities and risk areas, presenting clear action plans to management.
• Prepare and present monthly performance reports, including key KPIs (RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, Market Share, GOPPAR).
• Maintain historical data and establish benchmarks for future strategy development.
