Director of Sales - MICE (Flexible - can be based anywhere)

• Has a broad knowledge of how the business is run, focuses on the major factors necessary to ensure that the business is successful and profitable.
• Take part as one team to ensure commercial results are monitored and sales goals (both personal and team) are achieved.
• Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
• Solicit maximum business from market segments as assigned by DOSM/General Manager when required.
• Develop business plans to ensure all assigned KPIs are implemented & achieved within area of responsibility.
• Pro- actively selling all Resort’s products & service as in: guest rooms, meeting rooms, banquet function and all recreational facilities when applicable.

Required skills:
• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Good Communication and writing skills
Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Business Management. Related fields: English as a Foreign Language/Marketing.
Experience:
• 4 years of relevant experience or similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and work- related experience.
