People ​
Manage day- to- day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for employees. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve employee performance. ​
Regularly communicates with staff and maintains good relations​
Provides input for probation and disciplining staff is performed when necessary​
Assist in planning for future staffing needs​
Prepares and administers induction program for new staff​
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other department heads.​
Assists in maintaining comprehensive, current and guest orientated set of departmental standards and procedures​
Ensures training needs analysis of staff is performed​
Financial ​
Participates in the planning of departmental goals as they relate to the wider hotel strategy​
Maintain proper inventory levels, managing cost for supplies and labour ​
Contributes to pricing decisions including membership programs​
Participate in the preparation of the annual Health Club budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on increasing productivity.​
Guest experience​
May maintain procedures for security of lost and found items in Health Club areas.​
Inspect all SPA/ Health Club areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction. Advise employees of deficiencies and instruct on corrective action. Provide adequate retraining as needed..​

Maintain and order supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner while minimising waste and maintaining “green” initiatives ​
Carry out special needs and requests of the guests, VIP’s and repeat visitors.​
Follows standards, policies and procedures. ​
Understand and anticipates customer’s needs, takes action to address customer needs and strives to exceed customer expectation.​
Respond to guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.​

Specialised expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields. ​
Minimum four year of managing Spa and Health Club experience including supervisory training/experience.
Professional certification and license if required by law​.
Hotel experience preferred. ​
