• Have a basic to well- developed understanding of the drilling fluids system chemistry, and is capable of properly testing and maintaining the properties of the drilling fluids system with minimum supervision from Lead Drilling Fluids Engineer, and as per the customer’s requirements.
• Promote a visible QHSE commitment and implementation of Company policies and standards in conjunction with the objectives set by COMPANY.
• Report directly to Lead Drilling Fluids Engineer in charge on the specific Project and in General to Onshore Project Engineer and Operations Manager.
• Have the right and responsibility to consult the Lead Drilling Fluids Engineer at any time of the day should Night/Junior Engineer be in doubt of any ongoing operations or fluid handling/conditioning requirements.
• Collect and validate all critical data required to complete daily reports.
• Have an in- depth understanding of how drilling fluids and waste management systems influence each other.
• The Drilling Fluids Engineer (Night/Junior) must achieve basic knowledge, and is directly responsible for safely and efficiently managing well site operations relevant to the drilling fluids system while on shift.

• Bachelor’s degree of Science in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Earth Science or Petroleum Engineering degree preferred;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point,...).
• Working onshore: As per Company’s policy
• Working offshore: Working time is 12 hours/day, and 28 days/shift.
• Proficiency in English skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing (IELTS Certificate 6.0 or TOEIC scores at least 550);
