Duty Manager

Operational Supervision:
Monitor cleanliness, safety, and service quality throughout the property.
Ensure all guest services are delivered in line with resort standards.
Oversee the day- to- day operations of all departments during the shift.
Guest Relations:
Ensure a personalized and welcoming experience for all guests.
Be the main contact for VIPs, long- stay guests, or guests with special requests.
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Crisis & Emergency Handling:
Ensure all incidents are documented and reported to senior management.
Act as the Manager on Duty in case of emergencies (medical, fire, power outage, etc.).
Team Coordination & Support:
Conduct shift briefings and communicate important updates to teams.
Assist and support front office, housekeeping, F&B, and security teams as needed.
Ensure departments are adequately staffed and functioning efficiently.
Administrative Duties:
Prepare daily shift reports, including guest issues, VIP arrivals, incidents, etc.
Ensure handover between shifts is clear and complete.
Monitor room availability and coordinate with reservations/reception for any overbooking or early departures.

Strong leadership, decision- making, and problem- solving skills.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role in front office or guest services, preferably in a 4- 5 star hotel/resort.
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
Flexible with working hours, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Calm and confident under pressure.

Translation: Commuting allowance policy- Applicable to employees with permanent residence in Phu Quoc.
