Objective of role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Ecommerce Leader. In this role, you will support the Ecommerce Manager in overseeing and optimizing our online sales channels. You will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and maximize revenue through our ecommerce platforms.
Position summary and responsibilities:
Assist in managing product listings, pricing, and inventory levels across various ecommerce platforms.
Data analysis and reporting: The Ecom Leader is expected to conduct regular analysis of sales data, website performance, and customer behavior. The ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present findings in a clear and concise manner through reports and updates is essential. This helps in making informed decisions and optimizing ecommerce strategies.
Assist in managing day- to- day operations of the ecommerce platforms, ensuring smooth functioning and optimal user experience.
Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and reviews to maintain positive customer relationships and enhance the online shopping experience.
Coordinate with marketing campaigns, onsite/offsite and digital performance in execution.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging ecommerce technologies and make recommendations for adopting new tools or strategies.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, to coordinate and execute ecommerce initiatives.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, website analytics, and digital marketing strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high- quality work.
Familiarity with ecommerce tools and technologies, such as content management systems (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM) software, and ecommerce analytics platforms.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with SEO tools is a plus.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proven experience in ecommerce or online retail, preferably in a managerial or assistant managerial role.
Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams.
